Washington · Monday 18.00–19.00  ·  Slinfold · Sunday 10am–11am

Beginners / Family

Open to all levels of students but will focus on the essential basics and are usually taken at a slower pace. Classes will be aimed at the skillset of the attending students so will still contain enough content to keep it fun and rewarding.

Slinfold · Sunday 11am–12pm

Experienced / Adult

Also open to all students. This class is regularly attended by experienced students so the structure will be more challenging. If you want to push yourself further, then these classes will help you to further reveal your potential. Class content will also be aimed at the attending student skillset, so will vary.

Classes are aimed at age groups specified but we can be flexible based on the individual student but most importantly are open to all abilities and fitness level. Classes emphasise the fitness aspect and technical ability required for a Martial Art. So we focus on delivering both punching and kicking techniques on a variety of pads/shields whilst including cardio exercise and stretching techniques. This is a great way to build your general fitness but also enhance your martial art skills.

Belt gradings

Small progressive steps.

Belt grading's are designed to break down the martial art syllabus into small progressive steps with the aim to provide an easy way to keep students focused, involved and stimulated whilst promoting a positive development at each stage.

This also helps to encourage the learning of the different aspects of a martial art and shape it into a practical self-defence system whilst aiding physical and mental fitness and a skill for life.

Choi Kwang Do is the main syllabus and training format we follow and student gradings are carried out inline with this syllabus.

About the club

Richings Korean Martial Arts started in February 2019 to provide independent Choi Kwang Do Syllabus training.

After 2 years of success and growth RKMA joined Universal Martial Arts to continue to provide the high quality of training but also the support network associated with being a member of a Universal group of Martial Art schools.

Also a member of the British Institute of Martial Arts.

Choi Kwang-Do is a Martial Art based on a system that has been developed to promote optimum health, fitness and modern scientific principles.

The system is founded on that its self-defence techniques should generate maximum force, be practical, enhance the student's health as they practice, as well as developing mental and physical conditioning.

RKMA also takes influences from other styles involving practical self defence techniques such as full contact karate and kickboxing, all combined to help improve overall fitness.

About this preview

This is a concept page built by Fully Booked to show how the club's existing content could be laid out — the halls, days, times and the £10 trial month first, the syllabus underneath. It is not the club's live site and it will be deleted on request.

Every word of club copy is taken from the club's own pages: Home, About, Contact and the on-page sections Locations, Class Schedule and Training Times and Get In Touch. Nothing has been added, and nothing here collects data, sets cookies or takes payment; the "Pick a first class" slots are illustrative and do not submit.

  • The club has no photographs of its classes, halls, students or instructor online, so this page is built on its two crests and its own words. Real photography of the classes is the first thing a full build would need.
  • No monthly fee is published, so the fees panel reads "Your number here".
  • No instructor name, grade or phone number is published; none has been supplied.
